Full-Arthropods is a Full-length cDNA database of medically important arthropods that include Malaria mosquito, Tsetse fly, Tsutsugamushi mite, Dust mite and others. These arthropods either transmit various infectious diseases including malaria, Japanese river fever, or cause allergy such as asthma and dermatitis. Because of serious medical problems they cause, their genomes are being extensively analyzed recently.

Previously we have produced full-length cDNA libraries from malaria and other parasites, determined their sequences and constructed Full-Malaria / Full-Parasite databases. This time we have produced libraries from Malaria mosquito, Tsetse fly, Tsutsugamushi mite and Dust mite, respectively, and now Full-Anopheles, Full-Tsetse and Full-Mite database became available. Others would be coming up soon.
